When you are driving on a UK restricted license you are not permitted to ride a motorcycle that is producing more than 33bhp or 25KW for the first two years you drive it. Once the two years are done, you are legally able to take the motorcycle restrictor kit off of your motorcycle and it is restored to the full manufacturer's horsepower. This is only a small price to pay for the enjoyment of owning a motorcycle.
